Our Story

Our love for the German Shorthaired Pointer Breed started in 1995, when we managed a cattle station where "Max" the GSP resided.  We looked after Max during the weeks his owner was in Brisbane.  Max was nothing short of a fabulous dog with our young children and a great companion to us all.

Fast forward 12 years, the "most magnificent soul" joined our family "Edward Delaquois".

We had no intention of breeding at this stage however we felt Edward was too special not to share, so we started our "Delaquois" prefix and proudly became members of Dogs Queensland in 2014 and welcomed our first litter to "Sophie"  Kapoint Eiskaffee.

We have been cattle breeders all our lives, breeding performance based, structurally sound animals yet high grade show quality, for the seedstock industry.  

.......... we still do to this day!

This has taken us to the National level within our breed and interbreed.  

More importantly, we have highlighted the importance of superior genetics.   

We use these same principles with our dog breeding.

It is important to us to be continuing to improve this magnificent breed by introducing superior genetics, sourced from some of Australia's best breeders.
