Research the breed, read our Ethos pages and these FAQ's and then give Denise a call.  Denise can talk you through what to expect, the requirements, focusing on exercise and training and can answer any other questions you have.

We do ask that you have your partner on board with the possibility of a puppy joining your family.  This is a family commitment.  Our phone call will take on average 40 minutes so please be sure this is what your partner wants before calling.

Simply call Denise and have a chat.  Denise believes it is much better to have a no obligation chat to establish if we are the right breeders and this breed is for you and your family.

After a comprehensive chat , if you feel we are the breeders for you and we are happy for you to join our Delaquois family,  we can add you to our expressions of interest list,  to suit when timing is best for a puppy to join your family.

We understand that sometimes life throws you a curve ball,  so we ask that you let us know as timing is of the utmost importance to us knowing that our babies are going to homes that are ready and prepared for puppy's arrival. 

This will ensure a balanced and rounded home. 

We are located 2.5 hours north of Brisbane.  Just north west of Gympie on a working cattle farm. 

Our puppies are raised on our farm so they get to experience the great outdoors for play and adventure.  This also introduces them to lots of different noises and experiences.  

We hand deliver our Puppies to nominated locations between Gympie and Brisbane so you can meet us on "Gotcha Day".

For those families that live a further away, we can arrange road transport via Pet courier or fly your puppy throughout Australia,  to all airports that have Virgin airline terminals.

Please note, these transport options are an added cost to you.  They are at very reasonable rates as we receive a breeders discount for our families.

For all our airline transfers, we use new airline approved crates to ensure the utmost cleanliness for puppy and to avoid any previous residual contamination.

We do all the bookings to take the hassle and worry away from you.

As a dedicated breeder and complete lover of the breed you will find we want to make a lifelong commitment to both you and your new Delaquois family member.

Most definitely.  I am a registered breeder with Dogs Queensland. My Dogs Australia (ANKC) number is 4100117704.

Your puppy will come on Limited Registration (meaning you can not confirmation show or breed - perfect for a family member).  You can however join your State Body (Example - Dogs Qld), and compete in the fun events that are run.

Yes, all our dogs are Full Breed Profile tested for any genetic diseases and traits.

This is done by DNA testing through the Orivet Laboratory.

Yes.  All of our puppies are microchipped at 6 weeks of age.  You will receive a certificate from Central Animal Records by email within 3 weeks of gotcha day.

To do this puppy must be on Main Registration.  

We do offer Main Registration, However we will not provide Main Registration to someone that just wants to get a "couple of litters out of her", "give the kids the experience" or to"breed a few for ourselves".

Considering Main Registration;

Be prepared to do your research into this breed.

You must be prepared to join your State Governing Body under Dogs Australia (was ANKC).

Strictly adhere to all of your State's rules and regulations.

Be prepared to do health testing of your dogs.

Be prepared for sleepless nights while whelping and then broken sleep for the next week    checking on puppies.

Be prepared to take time off work when your pups are born for the 8 to 9 weeks your have them                     at home.

Understand you will need to be available to help the owners,  for the life of the pups you have bred - 10 to 12 years.
